HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

Canadian government prioritizes family reunification; IRCC, therefore, offers various family sponsorship programs. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident and 18 years or old to sponsor a family member.
Super Visa enables parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents to visit and stay in Canada for a period of two years at a time with multiple entries valid for ten years or till your passport expiry date, whichever comes first. It is important to note that Super Visa does not act as a pathway to permanent residency in Canada.
The spouse and dependent children sponsorship program makes spouse, common law or conjugal partner or dependent children who live outside of Canada eligible to immigrate to Canada.The Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship Program gives the sponsored mother, father, grandmother and grandfather the permanent resident status along with all the PR benefits in Canada.
